[birdky] Pectoral Sandpipers

This Sunday at McElroy Lake we finally figured out that most of the the
shorebirds were Pectoral Sandpipers. It may be, as Mark states on his website,
one of Kentucky's most abundant shorebirds, but it's new to me. On my ponds I
see more Solitary Sandpipers than any other migrant.
We also saw a couple of gulls, another group of which I have zero knowledge.
Think they were Ring-billed but I could be wrong.
The Pipits and Horned Larks at McElroy Lake are very tame. Dave probably has
them trained to eat out of his hand and probably has names for each one.
