Paradise Ponds:

I was a bit surprise to find out that the big, brown blob on a snag in the pond was a Great Horned Owl.
The 4 Am. White Pelicans were still present.
Very few shorebirds: Least, Spotted, Pectoral and Killdeer
Caspian Terns 2
Great Egret 1
Osprey 1

Refuge on H1-H6
Ospreys- One was sitting on a light pole not far from the nest along H1 when a second bird came in and landed on its back for a few seconds. When I came back out later one of the birds was standing on a pole beside the nest with a fish in its talons.
Sedge Wrens- at least 2

Birding smiles. . . . .
