[birdky] Pacific loon and other W. Ky. highlights

In addition to the common ground-dove that Hap and Roseanna so thoughtfully
provided:

Today (11/24)
* PACIFIC LOON. 10 a.m. central time. About half-mile above Ky. Dam,
half-mile from western shore. Looked like a juvenile to me. Got to study it
well in the scope for 15 minutes or so.
* LONG-TAILED DUCK. Same time and area as Pacific loon. Female/juvenile.
* MERLIN. Flying FAST toward road S5 at Sinclair Unit of Peabody near
Paradise
* SHORT-EARED OWLS. At least 4 along S2 at Sinclair.

11/23
* LAPLAND LONGSPURS. North side of road 971 between Sassafras Ridge and Open
Pond. DeLorme Atlas p. 74 H-4.
