[birdky] PURPLE finch

Spent the week in far eastern KY.  Unfortunately I didn't have opportunity for 
any birding but did manage to see a female Purple finch in Lynch KY, (Harlan 
Co).  The bird was in a hedge along the driveway of Solomon's Porch.  (This was 
formerly a hospital that was built by US Steel in 1917 when the mines were 
opened.)   Although far off the beaten path,  anyone who finds themselves there 
might want to look for it.
