[birdky] Olive Branch Eagle "show" today

First the two young bald eagles walked to the outer edge of their nest. Then
they spraddled their orange legs wide apart. Their wings spread , and they
ducked their heads. Leaping approximately 5-6 inches up in the air and down,
they repeated this routine three to four times. They sprang as if on a
trampoline. Then they disappeared into the bottem of the nest for a much
needed and deserved rest as if to say, "that's all folks".

I feel like they are my grandbirdies as I have observed this nest through the
infamous ice storm, high winds, and torential rain. Since Mother's Day is
near, I wish all of you out there that feel ownership and motherly feelings to
nesting birds a Happy Mother's Day.
