Melissa and I started the day at Jonathan creek and I ended it on my dock
at Crappie Hollow. It was a great day to be out and see the changes taking
place. KY and Barkley Lakes are closer to winter pool but I'm afraid the
water was high too late in the season for much available food. The mud has a
dead look to it.
Pied-billed Grebes were the bird of the day with groups gathering
everywhere we looked. American Coots were also grouped up at most stops.
