During the week before Thanksgiving I counted 43 Great Blue Herons uplake from the VanBuren launch ramp on Tayllorsville Lake and saw about 20 Cedar Waxwings in my back yard in Anderson County. Also got an American Coot in my backyard, it must have been injured or shot, no sign of it the next day. How is that for a ridge back yard count.
