A pair of Northern Harriers are here on my farm and in the stripmines. This is a first in this area..I have never seen them before and I've been here for 37 yrs. They were totally enjoying the high winds we've had during the past week.. The Golden Eagle is back also.. he got back last month. Wonder where he's been??? I know we have several different hawks up here..but these Harriers are gorgeous..I love the males underbelly and wings.. just beautiful! debi greenup co. ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
