[birdky] Re: Nesting birds in chimney

We've had Chimney Swifts nesting in our tiny chimney each summer for over 30
years. Long ago, we realized it was smart to close the woodstove flu as soon as
they arrived in spring, so the birds would not get into the stove box. I look
forward to their return each year, and I consider the chirping and flapping a
sort of music, with us as a privileged audience. Sooner or later, they all fly
out the top and go about their lives, leaving us looking forward to next year.
