Hello Frank. I have been enjoying the saga of Jeeves. However, I'd like to suggest for the sake of protecting Kentucky's biodiversity that instead of planting multiflora roses which are aggressive non-native shrubs, you consider planting some native fruit bearing shrubs around the feeding rocks. They were able to get Jeeves photo documentation they were unable to get yesterday. This afternoon Karen Bonsell and her husband came by and also got photos. I sat photo stakeout myself after they left and noticed that I had to shift the scope tilt when panning from the near rocks to the far rocks. I need one more rock and I know where one lives. Also noticed that the White-crowned Sparrows liked using the rose bushes to stage visits to the near rock. Need to add more of them. Jeeves would probably like me to add enough to be able to hop all the way from the far rocks to the near rocks without breaking cover. That would take about ten. Hoping to negotiate that down to five. 3 New pics of Jeeves, one of White-crowned Sparrow, Mockingbird + wide view showing all food rocks. https://www.flickr.com/photos/123438032@N04/ Frank Lyne frank@xxxxxxxxxxx - near Dot in Logan County, KY ======TES TO SUBSCRIBERS===== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
