I also went out to Cecilia late this afternoon to look for Sandhill Cranes. I spent most of my time at the fire station on 86. There was a flock of 300 plus visible Sandhills feeding in the field south of 86 accross from the fire station. There were many more Sandhills flying around and landing further south than I could see, and many small groups were in flight in all directions.
Another treat was a group of several Meadowlarks foraging in the Field on the east side of the fire station.
