[birdky] Mitchell Lake 8/3

We tried to beat the heat by arriving early.  We left Mitchell Lake at  
11:30am, the birds had their feathers fluffed for ventilation and looked as hot 
 as 
we felt.  We saw 10 shorebird species and a few birds that made us  look 
twice.

Little Blue Heron
Green Heron
Mississippi Kite - 3
Bald Eagle - 1
Red-shouldered Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk
Semipalmated Plover - 3
Killdeer - 350 (1 with a white head and leusistic flight feathers)
Greater Yellowlegs - 3
Lesser Yellowlegs - 17
Solitary Sandpiper - 25
Spotted Sandpiper - 7
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 24
Least Sandpiper - 35
Pectoral Sandpiper - 140
Stilt Sandpiper - 2 
Least Tern - 8 juvenile 15 adult
Fish Crow
