The river is starting to go down but still has to fall about 6 feet to get off 
the bottom roads .  It should be off the roads in about 5 days according to the 
latest river forecast.  It will be a mess for a couple of weeks after.  
Mitchell was bank full last week and the bottoms were flooded with several feet 
of water.  Lower beaver Dam slough will get habitat 1st if the drain is open.  
Otherwise some of the flooded fields just east of Lower Beaver Dam Slough might 
be your best bet in the next few days as the river falls out.  I'll post if I 
get down there anytime soon but I suspect no habitat exists at this time.
