Hi all, This evening I had about 5 American Woodcock displaying in a field bordering Minor Clark Fish Hatchery. Also 1 Great Horned Owl calling from somewhere further back in the hatchery property. With the exception of last weekend, things have been pretty slow around here this winter. This morning I didn't have much of anything outside of a handful of Gadwall, Widgeon, and Bufflehead at shallow flats and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker across HW 801 from shallow flats. Good birding, Brian Wulker ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
