[birdky] Minor Clark Fish Hatchery 11/5/05 (The Falcon returns)

It was the best day for shorebirds there that I've had this fall.  That is
until the Peregrine Falcon made 2 visits late in the day and ran them all
off.  He is a gorgeous bird and made one swoop 20 yards from my Jeep.

5 Dunlin
1 Greater Yellowlegs
3 Least Sandpipers
50+ Killdeer
7 Wilson's Snipes
Belted Kingfisher
15+ Great Blue Heron
1 Great Egret
Red-shouldered Hawk - constantly working the area in and around the ponds
Mallards
Canada Geese
Eastern Bluebirds
1 Eastern Phoebe
1 Swamp Sparrow
2 Pied-billed Grebes
American Goldfinches
