I visited Minor Clark Fish Hatchery near Morehead Saturday. This was my second visit. The highlight for me was 3 Horned Grebes. There were also Pied Billed Grebes, Eastern Bluebirds, Belted Kingfish, Blue Winged Teal, Mallards, Canada Geese, Red Tailed Hawk, Killdeer, and the Blue Morph Snow Goose was still there. There were quite a few warblers. Since I am just learning the warblers I know that there were Yellow Rumped Warblers but I'm unsure of the others. I spent both visits photographing as many of the birds as I could and have posted the pictures on a webpage. The first half are from the September visit and the last half are from yesterday. Any of you that would like to help with the warbler ID, please feel free. I have an idea but these are the first warblers that I've really seen and photographed. http://homepage.mac.com/lhays/KYBirds/PhotoAlbum77.html You can use the slideshow for bigger sized images. Any that are vertical can be clicked again to get the full size and best viewing.
