Make that 7:30 STANDARD time. Steve mentioned the springlike feel, this
morning and I got carried away in the mood. That's my story and I'm sticking
to it!

At about 7:30 AM CDT, this morning, a Merlin stopped briefly at the top of the
dead-oak snag, across the road from the house. I got a few photos but was a
long way off (at the far end of the pond thicket), and had to have the zoom on
the scope and camera all the way in. They're not great but are adequate for
documentation :-).
