[birdky] May 13 Jefferson Co. migration count

Nine observers in 5 parties.  3,674 individual birds representing 124
species. Temperature 50-66 F.  No precipitation.

Higher than usual counts were reported for:  great blue heron and swallow
species except bank swallow (average) and purple martin (low).

Lower than usual counts were reported for:  ring-billed gull (none
reported), purple martin, blue-gray gnatcatcher, Nashville and yellow-rumped
warblers, and common yellowthroat.

26 warbler species were tallied (slightly below average).

Notable observations included:  mute swan, bald eagle, cerulean warbler,
sedge wren, and purple finch.
