Walks around a few trails at Mammoth Cave have produced a nice number of
Swainson's thrushes the past few days. They have such a great song. Also, we
still have well above average numbers of black-and-white warblers. The nicest
surprise so far has been the good numbers of cerulean warblers we've
encountered. In the past two weeks, we've had singng individuals on both sides
of the river at Mammoth Cave Ferry, Echo River Trail, River Styx Trail,
Turnhole Bend Trail, and Green River Bluffs Trail.
