[birdky] Logan County RPT:

21 April 2006:
 
Driving back from Chandler's, I took the scenic route.  I spent about 10
minutes below and at Briggs Lake.  The following birds of interest were
observed, mostly heard.
 
Wild Turkey (2)
Yellow-throated Vireo (1)
Red-eyed Vireo (1)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (1)
Kentucky Warbler (1)
Yellow-throated Warbler (1)
Northern Parula (1)
Indigo Bunting (1)
 
Later a brief stop at the Raymond Athey Barrens Nature Preserve near Dennis,
yielded 2 Prairie Warblers.
 
Back at the office, I had my FOS Eastern Kingbird and a nice Sharp-shinned
Hawk near the country club on the drive home.
 
That concludes this report.
