[birdky] Lexington reservoirs

Local birders with ASK found White-Winged Scoters on the Jacobson Park Pond
yesterday. We then entered the Water Company property across the street and
saw the triple crown of Mergansers. Hooded, Red-Breasted and Common. There
was nothing common about the last Merganser as the group of twenty floated
across the water in the snow. Also seen were Ruddy ducks, Lesser Scaup,
Goldeneye and Wood Ducks. Large numbers of Ring-Billed Gulls carried out the
white theme for the afternoon. The group was led by Dave Svetich. We want to
thank Rick Buchanen from KAWC for spending his afternoon with us and opening
the gates.
