[birdky] Lexington area birding spots

Hello all,
 

I found this list while searching the web for birding spots in and
around Lexington, KY.  My wife and I will be visiting the area from June
3 - 7.  We are actually attending the National Saluki specialty dog show
at the Kentucky State Horse Park, but of course hope to get a few
moments birding.  We would love a few recommendations for that area?  I
have never birded your lovely state so what ever is near and fairly easy
would be fine.   Is there ok birding in that park itself?

 

 Any help would be very much appreciated!!  Thanks!
