2002 Fall Meeting Membership Dues Proposal
We have examined our cost of the printing and mailing of The Kentucky Warbler
publication along with other membership needs and have found that it is
necessary to raise our dues to cover those needs. It has been 10 years since
the Society has had a dues increase. As a note, a thorough comparison to other
states' ornithological societies was also performed and showed KOS to have very
low membership dues compared to other states. We wish to continue to provide
our membership with an excellent publication and informative meetings, and to
keep improving on both.

Therefore, the following proposal for membership dues will be presented to the
membership for approval at the Society's Annual Meeting on Saturday, September
28th, 2002 at the Natural Bridge State Resort Park at 7:30 p.m. E.S.T.:

Individual Membership $ 15
Family $ 20
Student $ 10
Contributing $ 25
Corporate $ 100
Life $ 300

2002 Fall Meeting Slate of Officers
The following slate of officers will be presented for approval by the
membership at the Society's Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 28th at
Natural Bridge State Park at 7:30 p.m. E.S.T. :

Vice President - Hap Chambers
Corresponding Secretary - Brainard Palmer-Ball, Jr.
Treasurer - Jim Williams
Recording Secretary - Gerald Robe
