[birdky] KY and Barkley Dams 2/25

Four hearty birders braved the wind, rain and cold to enjoy a little  birding 
today. The number of gulls has drastically decreased since last  week.   
Sixty-four species were recorded with a few highlights listed  below.
 
Gadwall
Northern Shoveler
Canvasback - many
Ring-necked duck
Lesser Scaup
Bufflehead
Common Goldeneye
Hooded Merganser
Red-breasted Merganser
Ruddy Duck
American White Pelicans
Bald Eagle - on nest
Tree Swallows - 3
Thanks to Roseanna, Jetta and Teresa for making the long drive to scour the  
white caps for gulls and ducks.
