[birdky] KY Dam/lake

The juvenile Yellow-billed Loon was located on Sunday
in the same vicinity of Camp Currie. It was actively
feeding along with a large number of Common Loons most
of which were in breeding plumage. The California Gull
was located below KY Dam along with a immature Thayers
Gull. A beautiful Glaucous Gull was seen in the Camp
Currie area being harassed by two juvenile Herring
Gulls. Below KY Dam I watch a Red-shouldered Hawk
performing its mating flight. It was putting on quite
a show. White Pelicans seemed to be everywhere, below
the dams and high overhead, migrating north.  Tom
