Two young Eagles were causing havoc with the ducks at Blood River this
morning. Least Sandpipers (24) and Wilson's Snipe were the only shorebirds I
could
find. Forster's Terns (52), Bonaparte's, Ring-billed and Herring Gulls were
also seen
Jonathan Creek has about the same mix of birds with Ruddy Ducks, Green-winged
Teal (2), Least Sandpipers (17), Forster's Terns (28) and one Caspian Tern.
Other birds of interest:
Wood ducks
Blue-winged teal -60
Northern Shoveler
Gadwall
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers - everywhere
Yellow-throated Warbler
Pine Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush
Hap
Murray, KY
