[birdky] INFO:seriously thinking about taking one day trip to reelfoot lake in two weeks...join me!

It is very late notice, and it is dependent on a number of variables, but have
been seriously considering taking a 1 day, (plausibly overnight) trip to
Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge and State Park. I've been looking around at
different places that look good for wintering species ducks, raptor, sparrows,
etc. and I think this would be a good one day trip. Other closer options
would be Lake Carlyle or the dams, but I have never been to reelfoot and i
think I am long overdue for a day trip out there. I also would welcome any
info on unusual species and where they have been seen in the past particularly
good areas with low wet fields for studying sparrows. contact me if you are
interested:
preferably by phone (internet access is scant at best): (502)773-0598

Good Birding,
