A bit off topic, but the NWS visible satellite imagery for the vigorous Low pressure system currently in the Midwest is pretty neat. Go to this link: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/crh/satellite/satellitessd.php?site=lmk and then click on the image for a nice loop of all the dynamics at work in this powerful fall storm (the loop probably won't load on a smart phone). The first few images in the loop are currently (noon EDT) still from before dawn, but the latter images are depicted nicely and will get better as the afternoon progresses. bpb, Louisville ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
