A hummer reappeared our feeder after my earlier posting and has returned several times. I finally got a good look at her and feel reasonably confident she is an immature female ruby-throated. I could see no rufous at all at the base of her tail or anywhere else. Her tail is not sharply pointed and she is a fairly large hummer.
