While outside this morning a ping pong-sized hummer (like a small, fat
B-52) came in
to my pineapple salvia. It disappeared before I could get a photo but I am
now on the lookout for it. Was definitely not a male RTHU but I didn't get
a good enough look to say what else it might have been. Until the
appearance of this hummer the last RTHU in our yard was a male on October 7.
