[birdky] Hummer Morns at Land Between the Lakes

Just a note that the first "Hummingbird Mornings" programs of 2004
will be this weekend
(6-8 August) at Woodlands Nature Center in Land Between the Lakes,
Kentucky.

Aside from banding hummingbirds all day Saturday and Sunday, we'll
have a Friday night
public lecture that follows a half-day training in the
GLOBE/Operation RubyThroat
hummingbird protocols. The training is open to all K-12 educators and
any other adults
interested in becoming certified to report hummingbird observational data.

Details are on the Web site for "Operation RubyThroat: The
Hummingbird Project" at
http://www.rubythroat.org/HummingbirdMornings04Main.html

See you there!
