[birdky] Golden-Winged, 5/7

It can't get any cooler, unless it's a male. Minutes ago in my back yard, traversing the tree-brushy fenceline, a female GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER surprised me and presented some great views. I used to see these more often 10 years ago, at Joe Creason, when I lived in Louisville; this is my first in KY in nearly 3 years. Saw my first redstart of the spring as well, a female too. Now I know never to take my back yard for granted. By the way, I've never seen so many Cape Mays--half a dozen sometimes, in my back yard, noisily hanging around a lombardy poplar. Been several days....  A frickin' golden-winged--yes.
