Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that when we stopped by
Garvin Brown yesterday afternoon, (~6:00pm), we saw a Great-horned Owl! It was
in the swampy area all the way over to the right when you enter Garvin Brown. I
was looking for Rusty Blackbirds, which were also present, when we heard a lot
of commotion from Crows! We also saw a Red-shouldered Hawk in the mix & assumed
they were harassing him. My husband noticed that there was a bigger bird, it
turned out to be a Great-horned Owl! Pretty cool, I've never seen a GHO there
before! I finally did het a couple of good shots, I'll try to get them on the
Flickr KOS site later!
