[birdky] Fulton County 6/26/04

Five species of shorebirds were found in three of the puddles today.  Purple 
Martins and Swallows are gathering for their journey south.  I had all the 
swallows but Cliff today and didn't look very hard.  Following are the 
highlights.
Snowy Egret
Little Blue Heron
Mississippi Kite - 5 Adult and 1 or 2 young in nest
American Kestrel -2
Black-necked Stilt -14
Lesser Yellowlegs -2
Least Sandpiper -3
Pectoral Sandpiper -1
Least Tern - 8
Red headed Woodpecker - 16
Loggerhead Shrike- 3
Hap
Murray, KY
