[birdky] Frozen bays 1/16

Barry Hart and I checked our shorebird viewing spots on  Blood River and 
Jonathan Creek today.  Amazingly we did find shorebirds at  Blood River.  
Jonathan 
Creek was frozen solid and no birds were seen except  a few distant gulls and 
cold Great Blue Herons.
 
Blood River Birds:
Canada Goose -12
Gadwall - 12
Great Blue Heron - 18
Black Vulture - 2
Turkey Vulture - 8
Bald Eagle - 5 Adults 1 at the nest site
Red-tailed Hawk - 1
Killdeer - 3
Least Sandpiper - 9
Bonaparte's Gull - 1
Ring-billed Gull - 350
Herring Gull - 2
