I have lots of Carolina Chickadees and agree with Mark--their happy =
"chick-a-dee-dee-dee" brightens many a morning/day!

I agree with Hap, that reports of Fox Sparrows are up this year. I have =
not
birded that much, but I have found that if/when I get out, they seem to =
be
much easier to find than usual.
On another note, as some of you know, I built a new house about 4 years =
ago
in a new subdivision that is essentially in them middle of a giant =
pasture.
There are woodlands nearby, but that is about it. Earlier this week, I =
had
an exciting yard bird for this location, 2 Carolina Chickadees. I had
forgotten how much I enjoyed hearing there buzzy call. Those of you who
have trees and Chickadees around should not take that beautiful little =
bird
and its call for granted.

A Fox Sparrow has been spending his days picking at cracked corn under =
