[birdky] Flycatchers plus at Tom Sawyer Park

I had a great morning of flycatchers at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville. The morning started with a Peewee seen singing. Shortly after that. I saw a Willow Flycatcher singing out his ID, and clearly heard an Alder Flycatcher singng across the field. A little later, I watched a pair of Eastern Kingbirds doing some tricky flying together, then sighted a Great Crested Flycatcher singing out. This was all topped off with a Pheobe on the way home.

I also observed Mocking Bird, Brown Thrasher, Catbird and Yellow Breasted Chat.

Warblers were 1 Magnolia, Several Yellowthroats, and many Redstarts.

At Taylorsville Lake S.P. on Sunday, we watched 2 Broadwinged Hawks do some mid-air sparring, and saw Summer Tanagers, Scarlet Tanagers, Baltimore Orioles, and Orchard Orioles among others.

What a great time of year!
