[birdky] First time feeder birds

I have a 5 foot post in the ground just outside my screened porch with a 2 by 4
crossbar. It holds a hummingbird feeder and I also impale 1/2 oranges and
apples across the top of the 2 by 4, and usually get a nice selection of
mockingbirds, catbirds, downy and red bellied woodpeckers feeding at it (and 2
orioles for one day last week). This weekend I have 5 cedar waxwings eating
the fruit! They have never come to my fruit feeder before, but I guess the
lack of other options may make this attractive. One first year (no wax on the
wings) has the orange variant tail described in the Sibley guide - I had never
seen that before.
