[birdky] Feeder visitors and others

Hello again!

First, thank you to everyone that replied to my intro post! I haven't had
time, yet, to reply to everyone, but I wanted to let you guys know how much
I appreciate all the responses!

Now, I realize this may not be too exciting, but it is for me! Yesterday
afternoon I put up my first feeder- filled with mixed seeds. Today, I
already had a few visitors:

At least two Carolina Chickadees
Two Tufted Titmice
One White-breasted Nuthatch
One Grackle (though his buddies weren't too far away... a large group has
been hanging around the yard and nearby houses for a couple days)
One Nothern Cardinal male at the feeder and several hanging around the
yard. One Lady Cardinal hanging around also!
And, of course, several American Robins around the yard

I've been hearing the Nuthatch for a few days, but I didn't know the call
(gotta learn them sometime)! Now I know for sure what it is!

I heard several calls and songs, but I really don't know many just yet.

Yesterday, I saw and heard a Carolina Wren and two Ruby-throated
Hummingbirds out in the yard and on the Mimosa trees, respectively.

I didn't think the birding I would be doing would be in the backyard! I
can't wait to take some trips out to see others!

This afternoon I added a Nyjer sock and a suet feeder to the mix as well.

Hope everyone's having a great evening!
