[birdky] Feeder birds and Waterfowl

Today has been a good day for diversity at my feeders. Snow has been flying
all day and between the boy's ballgames I've had to fill the feeders twice.
Seen at the feeders today:

Blue jay
Brown thrasher
C. chickadee
Titmouse
C. wren
N. Cardinal
Am. Tree Sp
Field sp
Fox sp
Song sp
White-th sp
White-cr sp
Junco
House finch
Goldfinch

Also observed a few thousand ducks dry feeding in a field at the end of my road
in the river bottoms near Crawford lake. Mostly Mallards but several Black
ducks and a few Wood ducks and Pintails as well. They were far behind a closed
gate and the snow made for viewing difficult.

An experienced duck hunting friend of mine stated that three days ago there
were more ducks in the lower Barlow bottoms than he has every seen. He
estimated at least 1/2 million below the Terrell field in Ballard County.
