[birdky] Re: Falls of the Ohio

I too would like to know where Wave Rock is located, as well as where those
lakes are that all the experienced birders mention-- mostly those in Western
Kentucky I guess. Is there a map anywhere that lists the name of lakes in
Kentucky, even the temporary ones.

We will be going to a short birding Elderhostel in southern Illinois the end of
this month and will go to Murray for a overnight visit after that and will have
some time to kill in the early afternoon before checking into the motel. Would
like to know sites we could bird besides the KY Lake dam area.

I went by the falls as well this afternoon and had 3 Sanderlings and a
Ruddy Turnstone across from the visitor center. Bay-breasted, Black-
and-white, Chestnut-sided Warblers and Redstarts as well. I'm not very
familiar with the area and was wondering where wave rock is located.
