[birdky] FYI: TVA Study of major lake level management

As many of you know, TVA is in the process of a 2 year study evaluating lake
water level management.  It is possible that the study will recommend
changes to the current winter pool levels in certain lakes eliminating
shorebird habitat.  It is certain that commercial interests and hunting
interests will have a say as will industrial/economic interests.  A copy of

I urge all persons interested in bird habitat to review the study and to
find a way to comment on the need to protect or enhance shorebird habitat in
the TVA system of lakes.  They may not hear us, but if we do not say
anthing, there will be a presumption of no interest.  General information on
