[birdky] FW: INTERIM JOB ANNOUNCEMENT- KDFWR

We will soon be hiring a technician (Wildlife Technician II) at the
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources to help us with
Peregrine Falcon monitoring, songbird banding, data entry and other
avian monitoring projects.  This will be an interim position (less than
9 months) and will be stationed out of Frankfort.  This position has yet
to be posted on the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet Website, but please send

We would like to start someone as soon as possible after we get approval
to post/hire (as early as mid-March).  We are starting the application
process with qualified individuals now.

 

Preferred qualifications:  Must have one year of fishery, wildlife or
habitat management/development experience. The preferred candidate will
have an interest in birds and previous field experience.  Experience
with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS 9 is also preferred.

 

Salary : Pay Grade 10 (MIN-MID) $24,072.96 - $31,892.40 yearly at 37.5
hour work week
