KY birders,

As a result of reading Brainerd's report from Sat, and knowing Piping Plover
would be a new state bird for me, left E'town after work yesterday, and made a
beeline for FOTO. Could not find a single shorebird from the state park
overlook, so made my way downstream to what I guessed was the "lower pool".
This was where I finally starting seeing things, and numbers grew as time went
on. Mostly, they were the same characters that BPB had, with, of course, no
Piping Plover, but a few additional ones. Did not count waders.
