Birdwise things have been hopping, flying, and singing around 511 Happy
Valley this week. The WOOD THRUSH was a little late arriving, but now
many are singing from every direction from early dawn until late dusk.
Les and I were happy to hear the OVENBIRD singing in the woods above my
studio today. Other birds present are: YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER,
AMERICAN REDSTART, EASTERN PHOEBE, BROWN THRASHER, RED-EYED VIREO, and
20+ other yard birds.
