[birdky] FAYETTE AND CLARK COUNTY

Lexington Cemetary:
We went to the cemetary in the morning and could not find them the
crossbills. We returned to the cemetary after going to Spindeltop and we
saw the crossbills in the hemlocks at the front end of the lake closest to
the entrance. This was our third trip to find them. They are there, you
just have to find the tree that they are feeding in. In our morning trip
some other birders told us where they saw them and when we got there a
Sharp-Shinned was perched right above the trees, so no other birds were
present at that location. Some other birds we saw in the cemetary include:

WW Crossbills 15 to 20
American Robin 1000s

We went to Spindletop between cemetary visits looking for the Short Eared

and the snow buntings, but did not see either with the larks.
