This afternoon when I got home I noticed a "strange" finch on one of my feeders. When it turned, I immediately noticed a red circle on it's face and then noticed the gold patch on it's wing. I still can't believe it, but I have a European Goldfinch here! Nice way to begin 2006. Steve Delaney Berry, KY
