[birdky] Elliott County Birds

Actually got outside today, nothing unusual but a good mix of birds.  Saw:
  Eastern Bluebirds
  Phoebe
  Yellow- rumped warbler
  White-throated Sparrow
  Carolina Wren
  Hairy, Downy and Red bellied
  Goldfinches 
  Robins 100's
  Mourning Doves  100's
  Purple Finch
  White Breasted Nuthatch
  Mockingbird
  Junco
  Cardinal
  Bluejay
  Carolina Chickadee
   
  We take the common stuff for granted until we have a life changing event that 
we cannot get out and look for birds...then even a Cardinal become precious.
   
  By the way Eastern KY Bird Club will meet next Saturday, January 14 at 10 a.m 
- 1p.m at Cave Run Lake, Twin Knobs Recreation Area Beach house.  The gate to 
the campground will be open and we can drive to the beach area.  We hope to see 
eagles, and who knows what else.  Everyone welcome!
