[birdky] Eagle soars

The Blood River juvenile eagle took to flight yesterday.  It  flew over my 
kayak and gave me wonderful looks at its new feathers.  I had  been watching 
the 
nest for the last week and was thrilled to have the up close  and personal 
visit yesterday afternoon.  
 
A White-eyed vireo is feeding young in its cute, neat nest and an  Eastern 
Kingbird sat tight as I paddled close enough for a  picture.   Cedar waxwings 
were still covering the willow  trees.
