I heard some flying over High Bridge (Jessamine County) at around 10pm last night.

More generally, geese seemed very active last night. I stopped at a number of places to listen for owls -- totally struck out on those -- but heard lots of geese at every single stop. Most were Canadas, though, I think.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [birdky] RPT: Odd-ball Snow Goose movement late yesterday &
today ....

Between about 5:30 yesterday afternoon and 9:00 this morning, I have heard
about *five* different flocks of southwest and westbound flocks of migrant Snow
Geese. These came from ...

Michael Autin (75-100 from Melco in s. Jefferson Co. about 5:30 pm);
Reuben Raber (unknown # heard over s. Henry Co. [perhaps w/ Gr. W-f Geese]
about 7:00 pm)
Wendell Haag (unknown # heard over Franklin Co.about 8:30 pm)
Eddie Huber (about 50 in two flocks (heard & silhouettes seen) over s-cen
Jefferson Co. about 8:45 pm);
Wendell Haag (100+ over Harrison Co. this morning)

Not sure why this movement would be occurring now and why they would be still
heading southwest on the weather we've had lately???

Any others?
